At this time, we will present the fencing options that are available to you and take an accurate measurement of the area to be fenced. When the fence style has been selected, and the linear footage measured, our representative will present a cost proposal for the entire project, material and installation.

APEX will make every effort within reason to keep your fence on your property, the ultimate responsibility lies with you. We will ask for a copy of your plat which you should have received at the closing of your home purchase. We will also attempt to locate the corner pins defining your property lines, often though, the pins have been removed or overgrown and are difficult to locate. Having your property surveyed prior to our arrival is the most reliable way to insure exactly where the lines are located.

Experience has shown us that communicating your intentions with adjacent neighbors usually has a positive outcome, often a neighbor is as pleased to see a fence erected as you are and sometimes will choose to fence their yard as well as offering to split the cost of the common section between the two properties.

Many of Atlanta's subdivisions have their own covenants governing what types of structures are acceptable and the styles which are allowed. It's in your best interest to inquire with neighborhood principals to find out what, if any apply to your new fence. A quick drive around the subdivision will give you an idea of what's already been approved.
